The spontaneous and UV-induced frequencies of recessive mutations have been studied in a diploid strain of Aspergillus nidulans, by the p-fluoro-phenylalanine (FPA) and 8-azaguanine (8-AZA) resistance tests, on either resting or germinating conidia.
