Two polymorphic marker genes, merozoite surface protein 3α (PvMSP3α) and merozoite surface protein 3β (PvMSP3β), from 100 Plasmodium vivax field isolates, were investigated using polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR/RFLP).
