The objective of this study was to estimate the allele and genotype frequencies of the IGF-IR/TaqI, m-calpain/HhaI, and UCP-3/BglI polymorphisms and to determine associations between these polymorphisms and growth traits in Chinese indigenous cattle breeds. Genotyping was performed on 321 animals including 135 Nanyang, 80 Qinchuan, and 106 Jiaxian cattle. No significant differences in growth traits were observed...
