We studied associations of genes of adrenoreceptor types 1, 2 and 3 (ADRB1, ADRB2, ADRB3), connexin (CX40) and voltage gated potassium channel type 2 (KCNH2) with development of atrial fibrillation (AF) in patients with hypertensive disease. We examined 102 patients with hypertensive disease which in 51 was complicated with AF. The groups were comparable by sex, age, Ketle index, presence of concomitant diseases....
