We did a retrospective statistical study of 117 patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma admitted to our hospital from January 1979 to December 1988. Five-year survival was 83% for patients in stage I at diagnosis, which was significantly better than the 55% in stage II, 37% in stage III, and 34% in stage IV.
