Genetic conditions are increasingly recognised as a cause of multisystem diseases in children. We report a 6-year-old boy with hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia, immunodeficiency, osteopetrosis and lymphoedema, associated with a novel mutation in the NF-κβ essential modulator (NEMO) gene.
