The ability of the bovine oviduct to maintain the motility and fertilizing capacity of bovine sperm was investigated by incubating frozen-thawed sperm with endosalpingeal epithelial cells cultured on either tissue culture plastic (nonpolarizing) or Matrigel-coated Millicell (polarizing) substrata.
