Actually, radiation-therapy indications in non-Hodgkin's lymphoma tends to decrease in favour of exclusive chemotherapy, especially in aggressive localized diseases. In this situation, PET scan imaging would be a promising tool to identify candidates to complementary radiotherapy after initial chemotherapy.
