We investigated the change in clones and serotypes of Streptococcus pneumoniae isolates in a Korean tertiary-care hospital. Serotypes of S. pneumoniae isolates were determined by the capsular quellung method, and in vitro susceptibility testing was performed by broth microdilution method.
