OBJECTIVE: CHARGE syndrome is a heterogeneous genetic disorder comprising multiple congenital anomalies. Major clinical diagnostic criteria include ocular coloboma, choanal atresia/stenosis, characteristic ear abnormalities, and cranial nerve abnormalities.
