OBJECTIVE: To establish a molecular method for the authentication of Pinellia pedatisecta and its adulterants. METHOD: DNA sequences of some species from P. tenore, Typhonium and Arisaema were downloaded from GenBank, the sequences were aligned using DNAMAN.
