It was found that phage phi kF77 is resistant to all known Pseudomonas aeruginosa restriction systems. Three types of mutants (dc-) which were unable to grow on different restrictive strains were isolated. All of them belong to one complementation group. Some of these mutations affected also the number of nicks in phage phi kF77 DNA and increased phage resistance to temperature treatment. It may be supposed that...
