We report nine donations with ABO inconsistency in reverse typing caused by partly or entirely missing antibodies. A and B antigens and antibodies were examined by serological blood typing, and ABO deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) analyses were performed by sequence-specific priming and sequencing.
