A patient fulfilling central, core and supportive clinical diagnostic criteria for dementia with Lewy bodies deteriorated rapidly in the absence of neuroleptic drug treatment, prompting suspicion of a diagnosis of sporadic Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.
