Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death worldwide, and it is responsible for 20-25% of all cancer deaths. In Hungary, more than 4,000 lung cancer patients receive chemotherapy every year, and of them 3,000 suffer from non-small cell lung cancer. Despite the rapid development in antitumor treatment options, the response rates of chemotherapies in non-small cell lung cancer still remain between 15-35%....
