PEB-me is a predominant protein of mature Drosophila melanogaster ejaculatory bulbs. It is resolved into four or five closely spaced subfractions (apparent molecular weight 35-39 kD) by sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.
