In total, 269 methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and 434 methicillin-susceptible S. aureus (MSSA) isolates were investigated to determine their macrolide-lincosamide-streptogramin B (MLS(B)) resistance phenotypes and genotypes.
