To determine the clinical significance of serum antibodies to the U3 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein particle ([U3]snRNP), we studied sera from 416 patients with systemic sclerosis (SSc) and 264 controls, using immunofluorescence and immunoprecipitation assays.
