Abstract excerpt
Patients with long-chain 3-hydroxyacyl coenzyme A dehydrogenase (LCHAD) deficiency manifest hypoketotic hypoglycemia, hepatomegaly, hypotonia, lactic acidemia, acute renal failure, cardiomyopathy, and sudden death.
