Neuromyotonia is a disorder of peripheral nerve hyperexcitability characterized by myokymia, muscle cramps and stiffness, delayed muscle relaxation after contraction (pseudomyotonia), and hyperhidrosis, associated with well described spontaneous electromyographic features.
