Variation in sex pheromone composition was studied in large fruit-tree tortrix. The pheromone contained cis-11-tetradecenyl acetate and trans-11-tetradecenyl acetate as macrocomponents as well as microcomponents cis-11-tetradecenol and trans-11-tetradecenol with the prevalence of cis-11-tetradecenyl acetate and cis-11-tetradecenol.
