In 38 anesthetised cat of both sexes, homotopic transcallosal responses (HTR) were studied in somatosensory, visual, auditory and temporal cortex of the brain. High penetration in cases of interhemispheric asymmetry was more specific for males and found mostly in cortical projection areas.
