A series of introgression lines (ILs) were generated from repeated backcrossing between the exotic hexaploid wheat genotype Am3 and the common wheat genotype Laizhou953. Am3 was synthesized by crossing Triticum carthlicum with Aegilops tauschii and was used as the donor parent in this study, and Laizhou953 was used as the recurrent parent.
