AIMS: To determine the prevalence of hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection in B-cell lymphoma in Japan. HCV infection and type II (monoclonal IgM) cryoglobulinaemia (CG) may be involved in the pathogenesis of low-grade B-cell lymphoma (ML) in southern Europe.
