Allele frequency distribution of CTG-repeat in the 3'-flanking region of DMPK gene was analyzed in populations of Yakutia (three ethnogeographical groups of Yakuts, Evenks, Evens, Yukaghirs, Dolgans) and Central Asia (Kazakhs, Uzbeks, Uighurs).
