Abstract excerpt
A bacterial strain, designated PALXIL04(T), was isolated from the phyllosphere of Phoenix dactylifera. Phylogenetic analysis placed the isolate within the genus Paenibacillus with the closest relatives being Paenibacillus curdlanolyticus and Paenibacillus kobensis.
