OBJECTIVE: To study genomic polymorphic DNA and genetic distance of 7 species of ticks. METHODS: Ticks used in this study were Dermacentor nuttalli, D. silvarum, Haemaphysalis qinghaiensis, H. formosensis, H. punctata, Amblyomma testudinarium, and Ixodes ovatus.
