We used partial sequences of three mitochondrial genes (12S rRNA, cytochrome b, and cytochrome c oxidase subunit I) to reconstruct the phylogeny of European seed beetles (Bruchidae) belonging to the genera Bruchus Linnaeus and Bruchidius Schilsky.
