We report here the second advanced backcross quantitative trait locus (AB-QTL) analysis carried out in winter wheat. Seven agronomic traits were studied in a BC2F1 population derived from a cross between the German winter wheat variety Flair and the synthetic wheat line XX86 developed in Japan.
