The genetic variability of 19 Toxoplasma gondii strains isolated from humans and animals in Brazil was detected by both random amplified polymorphic DNA-polymerase chain reaction (RAPD-PCR) and simple sequence repeat anchored-PCR (SSR-PCR) for the first time.
