Burkholderia multivorans strains from 47 cystic fibrosis (CF) patients in 28 hospitals were compared by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) and flagellin (fliC) PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) analysis.
