CADASIL (cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leucoencephalopathy) is a neurovascular disease caused by mutations of the notch3 gene, manifesting with strokes or stroke-like episodes, psychiatric symptoms, migraine and dementia.
