Abstract excerpt
PURPOSE: Craniosynostoses are premature ossifications of cranial sutures. They occur isolated and syndromic. Syndromic craniosynostoses are mainly associated with mutations of the Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptors (FGFR) 1 - 3.
