OBJECTIVES: To add to the knowledge base concerning confined placental mosaicism for trisomy 2. METHODS: Cytogenetic study of a late CVS referred for hyperechogenic bowel and raised AFP, and cytogenetic and molecular genetic study of a follow-up amniocentesis.
