Monoconidial cultures of Pyrenophora teres, the causal agent of barley net blotch, were isolated from leaves collected from six populations of the barley landrace "S'orgiu sardu" growing in five agro-ecological areas of Sardinia, Italy, and genotyped using AFLPs.
