The genodiversity of Staphylococcus aureus isolates from the Nottingham region of the United Kingdom was compared with isolates from the Freiburg region of Germany. The prevalence of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) isolates was higher in Nottingham than in Freiburg.
