The objective of this study was to understand the distribution of the genetic polymorphisms of STR locus D3S1545 in Chinese populations. EDTA-blood specimens were collected from 148 healthy unrelated Han individuals in Chengdu and 96 healthy unrelated Bai individuals in Dali.
