The SPINDLY (SPY) gene is a crucial component of the gibberellin signal transduction pathway in Arabidopsis thaliana (L.) Heynh. In this study, the cloning of the SPINDLY-orthologous gene (LeSpy) from tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) and its characterization are reported.
