Using two well-characterized heat stress transcription factors (Hsfs) from tomato (Lycopersicon peruvianum; LpHsfA1 and LpHsfA2), we analyzed the transcriptional activation of the Ha hsp17.6 G1 promoter in sunflower (Helianthus annuus) embryos.
