Using near-infrared spectroscopy, we studied cerebral hemodynamic responses to electric median nerve stimulation in ten subjects. The recordings were conducted by optical fibers placed over the left scalp. Electric stimuli were delivered to contra- and ipsilateral median nerves, respectively.
