The growth of Arabidopsis thaliana is quantitatively regulated by the phytohormone gibberellin (GA) via two closely related nuclear GA-signaling components, GAI and RGA. Here we test the hypothesis that GAI and RGA function as "GA-derepressible repressors" of plant growth.
