Forty one strains isolated from 21 samples of various mushroom composts in Korea were analyzed by 16S rRNA gene sequencing to investigate the phylogenetic diversity of thermophilic actinomycetes. The 25 strains of thermophilic actinomycete isolates were related to the five genera, Pseudonocardia, Saccharomonospora, Saccharopolyspora, Streptomyces, and Thermobifida, within the order Actinomycetales, and 16 strains...
