Genetic typing of 29 Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV) isolates from Argentina was carried out by sequencing 245 nucleotides of the RT-PCR products of the 5'-UTR region. Sequence analysis shows that these Argentinean BVDV include types 1 and 2.
