In this study the virulence factors, outer membrane proteins (OMP), lipopolysaccharides (LPS), hemolysin, and the in vivo and in vitro virulence of wild-type Proteus penneri 357 and its two isogenic mutant variants--a transposon and a spontaneous mutant--were examined.
