We investigated intragenomic heterogeneity of ITS2 within twenty individual Anopheles nuneztovari (subgenus Nyssorhynchus) from five geographical localities in the neotropics (three from Brazil and one each from Colombia and Venezuela) by cloning and sequencing PCR-amplified copies of this spacer.
