Porous hydroxyapatite (HA) ceramics were combined with either allogeneic (ACI) or isogeneic (Fischer 344) rat marrow cells and implanted in subcutaneous sites of Fischer rats. FK506 as an immunosuppressant or saline was administered to the recipient rats.
