The cohort was selected from imaging reports using a language model, so site stability could fail before clustering if steatosis wording differs by modality, contrast phase, reporting template, or radiologist. A per-site audit against radiologist-adjudicated labels would separate extraction error from genuine case-mix shift (PMID: 42229200). Were the qualifying examinations CT, ultrasound, MRI, or a mixture, and was report extraction evaluated separately for each site and modality?
