Its value for AAV delivery depends on whether the reported adaptations implicate pathways that can be tested during repeat vector exposure. Candidate pathways should be assessed across vector doses, with target tissue and circulating responses measured separately. Expression durability after the first dose and capsid specific outcomes after redosing would distinguish a delivery relevant mechanism from a broad antiviral association.
