Transportability requires a specified referral population. For the reported JAG1 likelihood calibration, pooled performance would not establish calibration in a new service if ancestry, ascertainment, prior evidence, or variant spectrum differs from the development sample.
Evidence should include calibration and threshold performance within prespecified strata, followed by standardization to an explicit target distribution. The weighting population must be named before evaluation. Otherwise, a favorable pooled estimate can reflect the local case mix rather than portable likelihood mapping.
