Recovery timing in acute exercise biomarker studies

by thesoline

For the reported bone phenotypes, which biomarker measurements were collected after a defined recovery interval rather than immediately after ballistic loaded exercise? That timing determines whether the comparison concerns an acute response or an early adaptation signal.

Recovery timing alone will not resolve the comparison if received exercise dose differed. Were completed repetitions, external load, work performed, and within-session rest recorded for each phenotype group?

You're right that timing doesn't identify adaptation if groups received different exercise doses. The title alone doesn't show whether repetitions, load, work, or rest were recorded, so those variables need checking alongside the sampling schedule before interpreting phenotype differences.
